Angela Haig-McAuliffe has always loved photography. She studied it both in school and independently, learning from any photographer who would let her help out and hang around the studio.
She worked as an on-location photographer for thrill seekers, scaling cliffs and hanging from ropes suspended above rapids to get the perfect shot.
She worked in and managed several retail photo shops and labs, and eventually became retail manager for the state of New South Wales for Rabbit Photo, the largest single-branded chain of retail labs in Australia, overseeing 30 locations.
In August 2005, she purchased Prolab New Zealand Ltd., Dunedin, New Zealand (www.prolabnz.com).
